The PGIB Young Conservative Foundation |
|
The PGIB Young Conservative Foundation began in 1996 and we
feel that the youth are the backbone of society and are the
future of Canada. PGIB Young Conservatives focus on youth
issues and believe in small 'c' conservative values. We are
currently working on a campaign to lower the voting age to 16
and fighting against the current Canada Pension Plan tax grab.
The Progressive Group for Independent Business Young
Conservative Foundation is the youth wing of the Progressive
Group for Independent Business. We are a business lobby group
that feels that "Less Government Equals Lower Taxes"
and that to ensure the future of Canada we must leave a
financially, socially and democracy stable nation for Canada's
youth.
The PGIB has been around since its founding in Ontario in 1992
by Businessman and Canadian Patriot Craig B. Chandler and has
been growing into a large national movement ever since. The
Progressive Group was involved with the halt of the Socialist
agenda of Bob Rae and Lyn McLeod in Ontario and more recently
the stripping of the title from Former Deputy Prime Minister
Sheila Copps, making her only the Minister of Heritage. The
Progressive Group for Independent Business is also the
organization the founded and sponsors 'The Roots of Change',
dedicated to uniting the right to unite the country, the lead
to the founding of the Canadian Citizens' Alliance, Canada's
ONLY National municipal political party.
The PGIB Young Conservative foundation is currently leaderless
with elections occuring in the summer of 2004. All inquires
can be made by contactin Nadine Hunka at the PGIB National
office at 403-720-2143 or by e-mail to pgib@shaw.ca. |
